Just curious. I'm hearing a lot about severe flooding in the Midwest.

Over an inch in Escondido today.
Not a thing in dry, parched, and BURNING, Ventura County. :-(

Just got back from a 2 week trip (in the car unfortunately) from
Winnipeg through Thunder Bay, Sault Ste Marie, Toronto, Niagara Falls,
Montreal, Quebec City, Binghamton, South Bend and Minneapolis and back
to Winnipeg. (Sorry Mark...didn't remember to take your number and had
spotty web access and little extra time)
It rained at some point almost everywhere I went.
It rained for most of the first day.
It rained in Quebec.
It stormed in Binghamton
It stormed in Ohio on the way to South Bend.
It rained in South Bend
It stormed in Minneapolis both nights.
I also took the same route up through LaCrosse to Minneapolis I took
last year so my wife could see it and one of the towns along the
Mississippi was badly flooded. The river is high.
Also, we found out a town in North Dakota was flattened by a tornado.
It rained off and on all day today on the way from Minneapolis back to
Winnipeg.
It rained in Winnipeg shortly after we arrived home.
So, it's a bit damp around these parts.

I was in Wisconsin this weekend and it's *wet*. Standing water in
lots of places, bridges closed and roads washed out. While I was
riding over on Friday, Michigan got nailed with three tornadoes around
my house and inches of rain in one day. eeek! The Mississippi River
was flowing over one of the locks near LaCrosse, WI.

Yeah, I just went through there this weekend too.
The Muddy is high.
On my way up Highway 61 I saw volunteers loading up to help flood
victims.
At one of the locks the water was the same height on both sides.

I had a few drops in my yard and while riding on the Crest today. That was
nice. But, my $400.00 water bill is not so nice.
