As If One Engine For Two Races Wasn't Enough!

Your Pal... Sal...
This week's Inside GP suggested that in
2008 the FIA wants to go FOUR races
with the same gear box and the SAME
set up for the next four races!

Signor Emanuel Ravelli...
...Welcome to McIRL.

Amedeo Felix...
Indeed. I hope this don't come off...

Signor Emanuel Ravelli...
...Don't vote "English".

address...
So vote....what?

fajp...
American of course.
The land of free, well ok somewhat.. ALRIGHT! heavily regulated, BUT
very high tech, um.. fine, so it's carburetted, but has live axle,
yeah ok it does look solid, but it's almost live, NASCAR.

Signor Emanuel Ravelli...
The clear alternative is "reason", but you knew that.

address...
You mean "ragione", right? :-)

Signor Emanuel Ravelli...
No, that's again "the British way", but again you knew that.

Phil Newnham...
Yeah. Gotta hate that famous Englishman, Paolo Martinelli.

peter...
At the recent SWG meeting:
"Ferrari, Red Bull and Scuderia Toro Rosso always voted with the FIA,
the remaining teams always voted against the FIA."

Dam but thats a fiendishly complex conspiracy...the "English" teams
apparently vote against their own agenda and Ferrari vote for it.

Phil Newnham...
It's very hard to follow how Formula England works, which is why MJF is
the only person smart enough to understand it.

Bigbird...
Yeah I saw that. Sounded like nonsense didn't it. Imagine a new gearbox this
weekend would have to have gear ratios suitable for Monaco, Silverstone,
Montreal and Indy. Talk about compromise. At that rate they would be better
to have standardised gear ratios for all gearboxes.

Phil Newnham...
They might as well turn F1 into A1GP but quicker at this rate. After
all, it would be much cheaper if they just all used the same car and
didn't develop it...

Signor Emanuel Ravelli...
...You are the BMIA and ICM5UKP.

Phil Newnham...
You might be right. After all, I'm opposed to the "cost reduction" and
more or less every idea that Max comes out with, unlike, say, Ferrari.

Jennifer Lee Boyd...
I think in 2010 they are to have a 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty on the
cars.

lparker...
Make them all out of depleted uranium!

Charles Perry...
Sounds like the FIA is staffed with alcoholics.

Signor Emanuel Ravelli...
The worst addiction is self-love. Ban the BMIA.

C Story...
Kindly specify what, exactly the BMIA has to
do with F1 .. I mean, other than, well, nothing.

Don't rush.
