I'll repeat what DPA wrote -
"I read the linked article, and it didn't say what OS the infected
server used. Maybe you know from somewhere else what software the
Nebraska child-support agency uses, but it doesn't say there."
Your links still don't mention the OS or if it even was a "flaw" - For
all we know someone could have gained telnet access by using "password"
as the password.

Great, but what was the flaw? Did they forget to set a password on
Administrator? I just ask because IIS 6 on Windows Server 2003 never
had any critical vulnerability in its three years of existence... not
a single one, zero, none.
