I just saw a funny tv ad on Saturday Night Live for Apple/Mac.
It's very bare (typical apple style) with two guys. The guy on the left
looks like a pudgy Bill Gates, age 50. The guy on the right is the
cool, 25 year old with an apple t-shirt. The PC guy, starts sneezing
and coughing. He tells the Mac guy to "stay away" or he might catch
something. Then he says "I think I'm going to craaaassh" and falls back
wards on the floor.

I saw one of those ads. They need to make the "Gates" guy a little more
worn, though.

The PC/Gates character has a reoccuring bit on 'The Daily Show'.
Very funny.

"How much time have you spent troubleshooting your PC? Imagine a
computer designed by people who hate to waste time as much as you do.
Where all the hardware and software just works, and works well
together. Get a Mac and get your life back."
So, to Mac guys, Windows is like Linux is to Windows guys.

Website says Mac runs Microsoft Office. Since Mac is running a form of BSD
Unix, that tells me if Microsoft wanted to write Office for Linux, they
could. However, I never thought of it before, but "Why not a Mac?"

As laughable as you may find it (you might already know this), when Windows
challenged Linux to a duel (benchmark), Linux (OSDL rather) challenged
Microsoft to release Office for Linux.
Best wishes,

Nope, to Mac guys Windows is like Windows is to Linux guys.

You must be talking about /this/:
Came across it a few days ago. Same arguments could be used to sell
GNU/Linux.

It's part of a series of ads. There's a link to all of them here:
I think the networking one is the best.

I wonder if it's subliminal that the PC guy keeps changing outfits, while
the Mac guy is always wearing the same clothes?
